Built in 1921 as the Open Air Memorial Theatre, this Greek Style amphitheatre on the Santa Monica High School campus honored Santa Monicans who served in World War I. The Greek is now a cherished part of the campus, hosting many school and professional events each year.

The Memorial Greek Amphitheatre is:

Unique – One of only a handful of Greek amphitheatres in the state, the Memorial Greek Amphitheatre is a remarkable venue for an outdoor event.

Steeped in Tradition – Built in 1921 to honor Santa Monicans who served in World War I, the Greek now hosts school pep rallies and graduation, along with concerts, premieres, and other outdoor productions.
